SNAP TV Launches A New Generation Of Travel DVD Trivia Games

New York, NY - February 12, 2006 – GameSnacks, the world’s first assortment of DVD travel games developed by Snap TV, was introduced here today at the 2006 International Toy Fair. Available in four titles, including Kids Trivia, Family Showdown, Pop Culture and Gender Wars, these new DVD games are designed to meet the growing trend towards portable DVD players and entertainment during all the holidays.

“We are giving consumers what they want,” say Nicholas Wodtke, Chief Executive Officer of Snap TV. “Our research has shown that consumers of all ages love trivia games that are quick, competitive and accessible. Our goal was to create quick bursts of fun that can be played on spring break, summer and holiday season.”

With both single and multiplayer options, all of the GameSnacks games include six different types of games. The games are portable and require nothing more than a DVD player.

Developed for ages six and up, GameSnacks Kids Trivia was composed by kids for kids. The questions focus on topics that suit this age group, including cartoons, pop culture and toy-themed trivia.

GameSnacks Family Showdown lets kids play against adults. While both groups are able to play on their own level, the game is entertaining for all. Designed to give kids a chance to shine, this game is a confidence builder and a tool that sparks children’s interest in new areas during family fun time.

The world of musicians, celebrities and scandals comes to life in GameSnacks Pop Culture is made for ages 13 and up. Reliving the last decade in trivia questions, adults can test their knowledge of recent quirky, comical and crazy events.

The fourth GameSnack, Gender Wars is created specifically to pit the guys against girls. Also targeted at ages 13 and up, this game has questions that test the players knowledge of certain gender-charged topics such as make-up, fashion designers, automobiles and sports.

The four titles carry a MSRP of $12.99 each and offer quick bites sizes of fun with six separate games on each DVD. The games allow players to double-down on their points, steal lives, and duel in head to head contests. Each game takes less than 30 minutes to complete and has a random generator that puts its 1000 plus questions to good use.
